About this disclaimer
The information provided by K-Event Calendar ("we," "us," or "our") on kpopcalendar.com (the "Service") is for general informational and entertainment purposes only. All information on the Service is provided in good faith, but we make no representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, adequacy, validity, reliability, availability, or completeness of any information on the Service. This page summarizes our affiliate marketing disclosure, content accuracy disclaimer, and external links policy. It complements (and does not replace) our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Affiliate marketing disclosure
K-Event Calendar participates in affiliate marketing programs. This means that we may earn a small commission when you click certain links on our site and complete a qualifying purchase, at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial decisions about which events we list or how we describe them.
Programs we participate in
We are or may be an affiliate of the following programs (this list is non-exhaustive and changes over time):
- Skyscanner — flight search, used in our Concert Budget Calculator and on individual event pages.
- Booking.com — hotel booking, used in our Concert Budget Calculator and on event detail pages.
- Expedia — flights and hotels, occasionally used as an alternative to Skyscanner and Booking.com.
- viagogo, StubHub, Vivid Seats — secondary-market ticketing partners. We label these clearly so you know they are resellers, not primary sources.
- Ticketmaster, AXS — primary-market ticketing partners (US/UK).
- Amazon Associates — used occasionally for K-pop related products (lightsticks, photocard albums, official merchandise).
How we mark affiliate links
We mark affiliate links with the rel="sponsored" attribute as recommended by Google's SEO guidelines. We also include inline disclosures on pages where affiliate links appear (for example, the tickets sidebar on event detail pages and the "Find flights" / "Find hotels" buttons in the Concert Budget Calculator).
How affiliate income is used
Affiliate revenue, along with display ads, funds the entire operation of K-Event Calendar. This includes hosting infrastructure, content creation, editorial review, design, and the engineering work needed to keep the site fast, accessible, and bug-free. Without affiliate income, the Service would either need to be paid (which conflicts with our mission to keep K-pop information free for fans of all income levels) or would not exist at all. By using our affiliate links, you directly support the project — thank you.
Editorial independence
We do not let affiliate relationships influence our editorial coverage. We list every K-pop event we can verify, regardless of whether the ticketing partner has an affiliate program. We do not boost or hide events based on commission rates. We do not write favorable coverage of agencies or events in exchange for affiliate placement. If we ever publish sponsored content (we currently do not), we will mark it clearly as sponsored at the top of the page.
Content accuracy disclaimer
We strive to ensure that all event details (date, time, venue, ticket prices, on-sale windows, lineups, etc.) are accurate and current. However, the K-pop industry moves fast: tours get postponed, venues get swapped, ticket prices get adjusted, on-sale times change, and sometimes lineups change. We update event details whenever we are aware of a change, but we cannot guarantee that the information on our site is real-time accurate.
Before making any time-sensitive decision based on information on this site — booking flights, securing hotel rooms, applying for time off work, buying tickets, or making any other commitment of money or time — verify the information directly with the event organizer, the artist's official agency, or an authorized ticketing partner.
K-Event Calendar is not responsible for any losses (financial or otherwise) arising from outdated, inaccurate, or incomplete information on the site. If you spot an error, please contact us and we'll fix it.
Pricing and currency disclaimer
Some pages on the Service display ticket prices, hotel rates, flight estimates, and other monetary figures. These figures are approximations based on publicly available data and our research. Real prices vary based on date, demand, exchange rates, and many other factors. We update our base figures periodically, but we cannot guarantee that any displayed price matches the price you will actually pay. Always verify the final price on the partner's checkout page before completing a purchase.
Currency conversions in our tools (USD, KRW, JPY) use static exchange rates updated periodically. Real exchange rates fluctuate continuously. For imminent purchases, use a live forex tool or your bank's exchange rate for the most accurate conversion.
External links
The Service contains links to third-party websites — agency homepages, ticketing partners, news outlets, social media platforms, and others. These links are provided for your convenience and reference. We have no control over the content, privacy practices, or business operations of these third-party websites. The presence of an external link does not imply endorsement by K-Event Calendar of the linked site or its content.
When you click an external link, you leave our Service and become subject to the terms and privacy policies of the third-party site. We strongly encourage you to read the terms and privacy policies of any third-party site you visit. K-Event Calendar is not responsible for any damages or losses arising from your use of third-party websites linked from our Service.
Fan-content and trademark disclaimer
K-Event Calendar is an independent, fan-run project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any K-pop artist, group, agency, label, or industry organization. All artist names, group names, agency names, and related logos remain the property of their respective owners. Photos and video stills displayed on the Service remain the property of their respective owners and are used for editorial and informational purposes under fair use principles.
If you are a rights holder and you believe we are using your content improperly, please contact us through the contact page. We respond promptly to legitimate takedown requests and rights holder concerns.
Health and safety
Some of the events we cover involve travel to large public gatherings. Concert attendance carries inherent risks (crowds, weather, fatigue, and so on). The Service does not provide medical, legal, or safety advice. You are solely responsible for your own health and safety decisions when attending any event listed on our site.
Forward-looking statements
The Service may contain forward-looking statements about upcoming K-pop events — release dates, tour announcements, schedule projections, and so on. Forward-looking statements are based on information available at the time of writing and are subject to change without notice. Past performance (chart success, tour success, fandom growth) is not indicative of future results. Do not rely on forward-looking statements as guarantees of future outcomes.
No professional advice
Information on the Service does not constitute legal, financial, investment, travel, immigration, or other professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional for advice tailored to your situation — for example, before applying for a visa to attend an event, before booking non-refundable travel, or before making any significant financial commitment based on information you read here.
Modifications to this disclaimer
We reserve the right to update or modify this disclaimer at any time without prior notice. The most current version is always available at this URL. By continuing to use the Service after changes are posted, you accept the updated disclaimer.
